Summer Missionaries 2011 - Prayer Requests
Canada - Chrissie Harsh (7/25-8/7)
- I won’t try to do everything myself but instead I would depend on God;
- I’ll be sensitive to convictions God lays on my heart;
- I’ll put action to those convictions;
- Pray for the people who will be reached - that their hearts will be soft and open to seeking what is True
Malaysia - Joseph Kwan (6/5-14)
- pray that we as a group can equip and train the Christians in Malaysia
- pray for the heart of the people, that they understand how important theology and truth is.
- pray for me as I am prepping for the trip that I can prepare well so that I can teach well there.
Alabama - Joseph Kwan (6/26-7/2)
- pray for strength as we do manual labor
- pray that we can have good community as we work with other people.
- pray that God will use us as he transforms the city for himself
East Asia - Melissa Pan (5/23-6/10)
- For people to believe in and follow Jesus Christ!
- For the underground missionaries and seminaries

- Personal - cling onto God”
East Asia - Monica Zhang (7/8-8/15)
- pray for the people that we are working with in east asia, for open and curious hearts
- for the team to show grace and Christ’s love to each other and especially to the people we come in contact with
- for east asian, in an area which is less than 5% Christians, pray for god to send workers
Honduras - Bethany Tsui (6/17-7/13)
- Raise up Deaf Christians in Honduras to become leaders for other Deaf Hondurans
- Holy Spirit to break down language (Spanish and Honduran Sign Language) and cultural (Honduran and Deaf Honduran culture) barriers
- Holy Spirit to do a transforming work in my heart: give me a genuine love for the people I’ll be meeting and ministering to, give me deeper faith and trust in the Lord’s plans
Thailand - James Yu (6/15-7/31)
- selflessness and the ability to love
- freedom in Thailand from spiritual and physical poverty
Japan - Joshua Chan (6/17-8/3)
- For God to move in the hearts of the Japanese university students and to show them the need for a relationship with Christ.
- For God to use the people on the team to build great relationships with the Japanese university students.
- Safe travel and protection from diseases and spiritual attacks.
Japan - Julian Joseph (7/15-8/4)
- That people will be ready and willing to hear the gospel in the midst of dispair
- Protection of Japanese people and vistors from harmful radiation in the are for years to come
- God will really be working in one of the largest unchristian parts of the world
Mexico - Grace Chiang (6/15-8/12)
- For God to have mercy on the innocent people there subject to the random acts of violence that have increased lately.
- For me to listen to what God wants from me.
