Here is a just an incredible sister in Christ and we had a unique chance to listen to her today. She has survived so many trials, persecution from her family, from the Secret Service. She has seen Him, TWICE. I mean this makes me think that when I pray to literally see Jesus, I don’t because he’s here, rescuing people who are in even more trouble and facing life or death challenges. I can just pick up a bible, on my desk and just open it. She is only 24, has a 6 & 4 year old, and has no identity. And yet, despite her trials, she has such a peace that we were so encouraged by God’s love.

Once we get her testimony in writing, I will post her amazing, one-of-a-kind, story. For now, I leave you guys with pictures. We played with Sudanese refugees (I currently don’t have pictures from that) and have spent time at this church in Cairo, where we told our testimonies and shared our love for the people here. We worship the same God and even though we might not feel to remotely the same level of outside persecution and suffering, we have to remember that these people are part of our family. And we have to remember to pray for them because they live in a world where they are the minority and their faith is always threatened.
