Just wanted to give you guys a heads up that I’m back from my trip and now at home in Dallas. Some of you saw me at church today. =)
This trip has been beyond amazing and is hands down, without a doubt, one of the best times of my life. I don’t have the words to describe the impact it made in my life and everything that happened over there. God is good; He is powerful, and He loves us so much.
I will be sending out an update email soon, trying to put into words everything that happened and all the things that God has shown me and I’ve learned. I ask that you continue to pray for me and my team during this time, as we process and debrief from everything that’s happened in the last 5 weeks at CTI and last 3 weeks overseas in Singapore. We’re all still very jetlagged, going through culture shock after being removed from society for 5 weeks, and are going through withdrawal after having been w/ each other 24/7 for the last 5 weeks and with the YFC Singapore staff 24/7 for the last 3 weeks. It’s a pretty shocking change. I don’t know if it’s truly hit me yet that it’s over. (I’m actually really scared to say that.) So please pray for us.
Many of you have told me today that you’re looking out for my update email, and I’m as excited to write it as some of you are to read it (or so it seems.) I’m looking forward to the chance to encourage you with the ways God has worked in my life and in Singapore and challenge you to continue walking with our awesome and powerful God.
Thank you so much, everyone, for supporting and praying for me. Your prayers have gone a long way, in ways that we can’t even fathom. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Keep your eyes peeled for that update email, coming soon!
