Dearest supporters,
thank you so much for all your prayers and words of encouragement to me. God has definitely strengthened me through you all!I am writing briefly to let you know that tomorrow is my last day in Kolkata and we will be having 1 more week of debriefing in Thailand afterwards.Time has flown by so quickly I can’t believe it! I miss you all very much and will be back very soon (July 31st).
God has continued to be so faithful these last few weeks here, showing me so much & deepening my relationships and love for this city.I have so much to share with you when I am back! stories of how God is working, stories of brokenness, and stories of the people I have met here.I really can’t wait =))
in the mean time… my heart is deeply sad and grieving at having to say goodbye again to these people that I love so much. Friends that have becomelike sisters and brothers, family to me- especially the girls I have met working at Love Calcutta Arts and Freeset. My coming and going is deeply affecting them.. both bringing so much joy to them and also so much sadness and missing in saying goodbye.
-Please pray for their hearts and for mine. Pray that God will keep opening up their hearts to know His love, especially at this time as we are leaving- that the love we were able to show them through Christ would continue even after we are gone. and pray that there would be a new curiosity and genuine desire to seek who Jesus truly is in the Bible.
-also, please be praying for me and my team as we go to debrief in Bangkok and transition back to the US. This time of reflection and training- on how to adjust back and share our stories well- is an Extremely important part of our whole trip =). please pray that we would be close to God during this time- that we would have ears to listen to Him speak clearly to us as we process our experiences and discern life changes and where God is calling us in the future.
I love you all very much and continue to thank God for all of you!!! I will be back very soon and can’t wait to share more with you personally!
